When I saw this small silver globe, I thought of many things. The earth that the astronauts who had the chances of flying into space saw was a crystal-shaped sphere with blue and white intertwined and surrounded by a thin layer of water blue gauze. The earth is the mother who feeds us and the cradle of life. She is sacred and beautiful, and is the homeland on which we depend.
On the earth, there are alternating spring, summer, autumn and winter, each season has unique charm. Spring: birds warbling and flowers blooming in purple and red; Summer: enthusiasm like fire, bright sunshine, green trees and pleasant shades; Autumn: golden osmanthus fragrance, layers and layers of beautiful forests; Winter: snow capped mountains and plains. The four seasons, like amazing pictures, decorate the earth.
Nature is the home of human life, and human survival and development must depend on the natural environment and natural resources. However, due to the irrational development of human beings, the resources of the earth have begun to fail, and the environment on which humans depend for survival has also been destroyed. Taking water pollution as an example, due to people’s unreasonable emissions, nowadays pure water sources are getting less and less, almost all water sources are threatened by “heavy metal pollution”, and now it is even not an easy thing for us to fry and eat a fish with a light heart.
Moreover, the earth is unique. Scientists have shown that there is no second planet suitable for human habitation on within at least 40 trillion kilometers from the earth, so in hundreds of years humans don’t count on immigration to other planets after destroying the earth.
In a word, the earth is our common home. She is so precious, so elegant. Being kind to the earth means being kind to ourselves. Saving the earth means saving the future. Let us work together to protect this blue sky!
